The word "Connect," uttered by Jo Yu-jeong during the crime scene reconstruction, proved to be the decisive key. It was revealed that the truth reporter Lee Jun-hyeok intended to expose involved a massive criminal organization linked to a secret prostitution app called "Connect-In." However, just as Jo Yu-jeong was about to confess the truth, she was found dead under heavy surveillance. Examining the suicide note left behind, La-yeong became certain that it was not a suicide but a "staged suicide," and instinctively sensed that the organization’s target had shifted to Jo Yu-jeong’s sister.

In the final act, the three friends chose to charge forward despite the realistic constraints urging them to stop. During a live broadcast, La-yeong revealed the meaning behind their law firm’s name, L&J (Listen & Join), declaring their mission to listen to the voices of the accused and fight alongside them. She publicly targeted the criminal syndicate "Connect," stating, "The only thing we need is connection." This message served as a powerful declaration of war against the organization, while the subsequent warning messages flooded to the firm's lawyers foreshadowed the brutal battle ahead.
