The terror of the scandal surrounding Arima Kana has struck, and to stop it, Hoshino Aqua has pried open "Pandora’s Box." Episode 7 delivered a massive shock to viewers, depicting Aqua’s cold-blooded transition into a true avenger as he sacrificed his deepest secrets to save his colleague.

The B-Komachi strategy meeting to prevent Kana’s scandal from going public was heavy with despair. While Miyako and Mem-cho warmly embraced a guilt-ridden Kana, the reality of their impending ruin remained. In that moment, Aqua made his decision after asking Ruby a pivotal question: "Do you want to save Kana, even if it requires a painful choice?"

The "ultimate card" Aqua handed to the weekly magazine reporter in exchange for killing Kana's story was the truth behind his mother, Hoshino Ai’s death. Revealing that Ai had secret twins—and that those twins are the currently active idols/actors Aqua and Ruby—was more than enough to shake the world. To save Kana, Aqua chose a "poisoned chalice," sacrificing his deceased mother’s reputation and his sister Ruby’s peace of mind.

Meanwhile, this episode also saw the catastrophic end of the relationship between Aqua and Akane. Trust shattered when it was revealed that Aqua had planted a GPS tracker on Akane’s keychain. While Akane wanted to help him as an equal partner, Aqua forcibly severed their bond to prevent her from being endangered by his path of revenge. He delivered a cold parting shot: "Don't get involved with me anymore."

In the final scene, while Akane wept over Aqua’s fall into darkness, both of Aqua’s eyes gleamed with the return of the pitch-black star pupils. His monologue—"I have no choice but to walk this path"—declared that he has moved beyond simple tracking and has returned as a true revenger who will stop at nothing.

By revealing his identity to the world, Aqua has burned his bridges. The storm his gamble will bring to the entertainment industry and Ruby’s life is terrifying to imagine, yet impossible to look away from.
