Tis Time for "Torture," Princess Season 2 Ep. 6

The sixth episode of 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess Season 2 has aired, delivering a dose of daily life even sweeter than its "tortures." From Mao-Mao’s balloon art challenge to the Demon Lord’s medical leave for a canker sore, and finally, the Princess’s struggle with a stye, the episode was filled with the Demon Lord’s Castle’s signature harmless and heartwarming humor.

1. Mao-Mao’s Growth: Overcoming the Pop!

The first half featured a "growth drama" for Mao-Mao, who was previously terrified of the sound of balloons popping. With help from Lulun and cheers from the Princess and Ex, Mao-Mao successfully mastered balloon art. However, everyone became so engrossed in making balloon animals that they committed the classic mistake of forgetting their true duty: extracting secrets.

2. The Demon Lord’s Healthy Sabbatical

The Demon Lord faced an unexpected foe—a canker sore. Taking a specialized "demon leave," he practiced an incredibly sensible and healthy recovery routine: light exercise, soft foods, maintaining hygiene, and getting plenty of sleep. Watching him act as the most rational character in the series was a delight. The highlight was when Mao-Mao, having enjoyed her time with him, innocently wished that he would "get lots of canker sores in the future," a hilariously "wicked" blessing from a child.

3. The "Evil Eye" (Stye) and the Secret Confession

Meanwhile, the Princess faced a crisis when her eyelid swelled up due to a stye. Terrified of using eye drops, she eventually let Torture apply them for her. Feeling so pampered and relieved, the Princess tried to confess a secret even though it wasn't officially "torture time." In a display of professional integrity, Torture refused to listen outside of work hours. Though the Princess vowed to "make her regret it," she eventually succumbed as usual, handing over the trivial secret of "Characteristics of the Imperial Army's March."

Even illnesses are transformed into opportunities for bonding and relaxation for the residents of the Demon Lord's Castle. I look forward to seeing what wacky "torture" awaits the Princess in the next episode.
